Workin' It!: RuPaul's Guide to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Style - RuPaul

Honestly,the only reason I actually read this book is because I have a new found obsession for Rupaul and the ways he influenced the LGBT movement. 


In past reviews I have been quite straight forward about the fact that I’m not the biggest fan of biographies or even realistic fiction. BUT since it’s Rupaul we’re talking about I was willing to make an exception.


The book wasn’t exactly bad,but it fell flat to me. Rupaul,you keep asking your queens to show vulnerability. But I didn’t see any of that in this book. The details stayed in the surface,I could find more depth in a kid’s swimming pool. And I know this book isn't exactly new,but damn is that an ugly cover. But since it did have some interesting passages,I will keep the rating at very generous three stars. Now…
